🟩Some Common Questions and Answers▶️

Most of the time you ask these questions.

🔷Embassy Appointment, University Application and Doc Submission Mail (Embassy Appointment, University Application and Doc Submission Mail)

Question 1: When should the appointment be taken?

Answer: In the semester in which you intend to apply, appointments will be made 12-13 months before the application for that semester as per the current embassy waiting period. The embassy waiting period is now around 20 months. So it is better to make an appointment 12-13 months before application.

Question 2: When should the application be made?

Answer: This is answered in the previous question. I am also saying that after 12-13 months of taking the appointment, the intake application starts, he will make the intake application. By doing this, you will have a valid offer letter and you can be enrolled to get the embassy call even if it is late.

Question 3: When will I get the doc submission mail?

Answer: As per current calculation you will get doc submission mail 19-20 months after making appointment. Follow the updates of the group and keep the block, health insurance, and travel insurance ready at the right time.

Question 4: What documents are required to make an embassy appointment?

Answer: Only a passport is required for an embassy appointment. Appointments can be taken easily with 5-7 pieces of information. Of course, while making the appointment, give the information correctly and do not leave any space between the alphabet and the number of the passport number. For example: Enter EE0123456 as this, do not enter EE 0123456 as this.

🟩Documents Related Questions & Answers▶️

Many of you ask the following questions during the application and before the embassy face-off.

🔷 Certificate and Transcript

Question 5: In case of application or embassy face, main certificate is required?

Answer: A Mains certificate is not required for application. You can complete the application process with the Provisional Certificate and Academic Transcript, with 2-1 exceptions. But in the case of Embassy Visa Officer (VO) may ask about the main certificate. However, this question is rarely asked. The correct answer to this may be; Non-receipt of the main certificate due to non-convocation. But if there is a chance then the mains certificate should be removed.

Question 6: I am a final-year student. It will take a few months to get my certificate. Can I apply?

Answer: Yes you can apply. Many universities in Germany clearly state on their website or portal that if you are a final-year student, you can apply with your average grade sheet. Only at the time of Enrollment, you will submit the Final Gradesheet and Certificate.

Question 7: My transcript does not mention the minimum passing grade. So do I have to collect these related documents?

Answer: The minimum passing grade is written separately on many transcripts. For example: "Minimum passing grade of 2.20" or "To obtain a bachelor's degree you must obtain an average grade of 2.20".

If not mentioned on the transcript, you should collect minimum passing grade-related documents from your university. Because Uniassist or some universities may ask for this information in the form of an authorized document.

Question 8: Will I upload the original certificate or the main certificate in UNIASSIST?

Answer: Must upload the main certificate. If a university or university wants a hard copy for any reason, then you should notarize your documents and send them to that address.

Question 9: My certificate or transcript is bigger than A4 size or A3 size. How should it be copied?

Answer: Resize the 2 sets of copies that you will use for the embassy to A4 size. In the case of the university, even if the size of the main copy is the same, there is no problem.

🔷 IELTS and Medium of Instruction (MOI)

Question 10: When should IELTS be given?

Answer: If you are planning to apply in winter semester, then you will take the IELTS exam between February and March of that year. And if you are planning to apply in the summer, then take the IELTS exam in October. And its validity is up to the next 2 years.

‼️Now as the embassy has a long waiting period, so give the IELTS exam at such a time that your IELTS is valid until you face the embassy.

"For example, if you already have an embassy appointment and the waiting time to get an appointment is 11-12 months (currently calculated), you would start the application with the IELTS exam at this time."

Question 11: How should the IELTS score be?

Answer: Generally university requirements start from 5.5. Some universities require an IELTS score of up to 7. So, in this case, it can be said that if your IELTS score is at least 6.5, then you can apply to your related 95-98% program. However, even though the Embassy's requirement is 5.5, many VOs recommend 6.0 to submit. In that case, it can be said that if IELTS ATLIST 6.0 for the Embassy you will be in safe zone.

Question 12: If I take IELTS exam 2 times at the same time and my overall grade is the same, which one should I apply for or the embassy face?

Answer: You can apply with anyone you want. But I recommend to apply or facing the embassy with the higher band score for each module. For example, if reading A is 5 in one and reading A is 5.5 in the other, then apply and face the embassy with the document of the exam with reading A 5.5.

Question 13: Can I apply with a Medium of Instruction Certificate (MOI) and face the embassy?

Answer: You can apply with MOI as an alternative to IELTS if the university accepts MOI. And whether they accept or not it will be written on their website or Daad website. But you will get updated information on their website. If you do not get the information anywhere, then you can find out by emailing the university.‼️Remember. With MOI you can't face the embassy.

Question 14: What is MOI and how can I get it?

Answer: If the study curriculum of your bachelor's university is in English, then you can collect a separate document from your university's authority, which says "Your Bachelor taught was in English" or something of this type. By which the admissions panel of your applied university can understand that your bachelor's was in English medium.🔷 Motivation Letter (Motivation Letter)

Question 15: Are SOP, LOM, and Motivation Letter the same thing or different?

Answer:

  1. SOP- Statement of Purpose
  2. LOM- Letter of Motivation
  3. Motivation letter

The above 3 things are the same. Only we call this by different names!

Question 16: How many pages should the motivation letter be and in what font size should I write it?

Answer: Generally 1 page is good for university applications. Because many university websites direct to submit a one-page motivation letter. On the other hand, even if there are 2 pages for the embassy, there is no problem. But as short as possible! Font size 12 is better. And the line spacing should be normal. The point is that whoever reads, he should feel flexible to read.🔷 Recommendation Letter (Recommendation Letter) / LOR

Question 17: Recommendation Letter (LOR) is required?

Answer: No it is not a mandatory document. Many universities require LOR in their requirements.

Question 18: From where to collect LOR? How to take it?

Answer: You can get a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from your university professor, associate professor, or assistant professor. Again if you are working under a company, you can also take it from your boss if you want. If requested from them, they can give it to you in their available time.

Question 19: Will the LOR be mailed to the Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor's direct university address or should I collect and send it along with other documents?

Answer: Sometimes German universities ask that your recommendation letter be sent to the university mail or uploaded to the portal. In that case, you request them to send to that process.  Sometimes nothing is said. In that case, you will send it yourself or upload it to the portal. So you collect 2 general recommendation letters from 2 people and keep them with you.

🔷CV (CV)/Resume

Question 20: CV should be made in which format?

Answer: You can easily create a Europa's CV through the Europa's website. You can also use any other tabular format. But sometimes some universities recommend Europa's CV.

Question 21: How many pages should the CV be?

Answer: There is no specific limit on CV pages. But keep it as small as possible. If you have a lot of experience, the CV size will also be a little bigger. There is no problem with this. But I recommend between 2-3 pages for applications and embassies. And of course, every page number should be in the CV. The font should be clear. Font size should be like 11-12. Write each piece of information with a gap.

🔷 Biometric Picture

Question 22: What is a biometric picture?

Answer: Biometric photo means that the photo should follow international standards and your size, shape, and appearance should not be edited and taken normally.

Question 23: What is the size of the photo in Germany, where can I take a standard photo, and is it better to give the background color of the photo?

Answer: Size is: 35mm x 45mm.

If you go to any good studio or lab, they will take pictures of these biometric standards and measurements. You can use white or gray color as background. But what color to use is entirely up to you.

🔷 Others

Question 24: There is a mistake in name spelling or other information in my documents along with my parent's NID. What would be the problem?

Answer: If your parents' names are same in all your documents, then there is no problem. Suppose your father's name is spelled correctly in your passport and certificate but slightly different in your father's passport or NID, it will not be a problem for you to apply in Germany and face the embassy.

Question 25: Which documents need to be notarized?

The documents which you have collected from any organization or person, in other words, the documents which are not made by you will need to be notarized if you send hard copies. For example: all certificates, IELTS, recommendation letter, job experience letter, etc. documents need notary for Gulf. And CV, motivation letter will not be needed for these.

Question 26: If there is a dot in the name, will there be any problem? Ex: (Md. Ahmed)

Answer: No, there is no problem. You can rest assured about this.

Question 27: My Single Name. There is nothing before or after. How do I fill out appointment forms and other forms that require different First Name and Last Name?

Answer: If you have a Single Name, then you will use the same name instead of First Name and Last Name. For example, if your name is just Rayan, then enter your First Name: Rayan and Last Name: Rayan.
